What could be better

Among standard formulation products (without special techniques such as liposomal forms), the biggest disadvantage is poor price competitiveness. Compared to competitively priced products with undisclosed ingredient origins, this product is over 35 times more expensive—a critical factor in YakAl's brand evaluation priority of ingredient origin transparency. GMP certification status is unknown. In the purity assessment for quality evaluation, the purity is approximately 10%, significantly lower than the average standard formulation purity of approximately 60%. While this product contains acerola cherry and camu camu, known to support vitamin C stability and efficacy maintenance, in addition to vitamin C, the pure vitamin C content per tablet is only 125 mg—less than the baseline vitamin C amount (1000 mg) contained in the product. To meet the standard daily intake nutrient reference value of 1000% for vitamin C (1000 mg), a large quantity must be consumed daily. Although acerola cherry and camu camu fruits are known to be rich in vitamin C, they are not currently recognized as functional ingredients for vitamin C in Korea; therefore, this product is not recommended.
